2.      Have your breakfast on time and ensure your meal is 80% protein and 20% carbohydrate. According to Lepacious Bose, it is better to eat your carbohydrates in the morning. Also include vegetables rich in fibre to your diet.

3.      Learn to eat fruit in-between meals but remember to eat fruits in moderate quantities and also include them in your overall calorie count. Fruits should not be eaten later than 5.00pm

4.      Eliminate sugar, sodas, junk foods and replace with healthier alternatives. Include healthy fluids such as freshly squeezed juice, smoothies, and green or black teas. She also noted teas should not be drunk after 5.00pm as some of them contain caffeine.

5.      Eat a very light supper no later than 7.00pm and ensure your supper are foods that digest easily. Also avoid red meat for supper. Eat more of fish, goat meat or the offal of meat popularly called assorted.

6.      Sleep for at least 6-8 hours at night to ensure proper rest.
