Speaking to Newsmen on Wednesday, the Commandant of the Corps, Mr. Babangida Abdullahu confirmed the arrest. According to him, the couple (name withheld) were arrested on Tuesday , at their Sama residence in Sokoto for allegedly taking the law into their hands. A man was left within an inch of his life after he was attacked by another man with a razor blade. According to the report shared by Sapele Oghenek, the victim had been sent on an errand to his grandfather's house when the attacker jumped him and inflicted the deep cuts on him. It was not stated what led to the altercation which occured on Major Bowen Road in Sapele, Delta state. A Peruvian plane carrying 141 passengers on board was involved in an accident at the Francisco Carlie Airport in Jauja, Peru The plane, Boeing 737-300 which had been on a special flight from the capital, Lima, to Jauja,  veered off the runway, bursting into flames upon landing at the airport at about 4:30 pm on Tuesday local time, according to reports. The airline in a statement said none of the passengers on board suffered any serious injuries from the accident, noting that all passengers were safely evacuated from the plane. But Le Republica reported that least 26 people, including a child, were injured in the incident. Witnesses said the pilot had lost control of the plane in high winds, while another report said the blaze had been caused by an exploding tire. A 14-year old girl who raped by five men at Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region, Ghana says she has been contemplating suicide for some time now. The traumatised girl dropped out of school at Class Four after her ordeal and says she is being haunted by the dastardly incident which has left her with life-threatening complications. Her revelations come as the Nkawkaw police arrested a third suspect, Awudu Kamiru, an 18-year-old head porter. The victim was strangled by her attackers in an attempt to murder her after raping with her. The attackers confessed to Nhyira FM the plan was to conceal their illegal act and avoid a possible arrest. But a Good Samaritan who found her in an unconscious state in the Trado stream saved her life.   A 100 level student of the University of Lagos identified as Temitope Omolara died on Thursday, March 23rd after she reportedly went out with an unidentified man. According to Nigerian Tribune, the deceased was said to have returned to the campus after the outing feeling sick, with her friends reporting that she was seen vomiting, including blood on a number of occasions.
